Understanding the Behavioral Health System
Understanding the Behavioral Health System
Ever wonder why good behavioral health care can still fall short? The answer often extends beyond the individual professional or treatment plan. Understanding the Behavioral Health System of Care takes you behind the scenes of behavioral health to explore the larger forces that shape how care is accessed, delivered, coordinated, and experienced.
Course Description
Explore how behavioral health care works beyond the clinical encounter. This course examines systems of care, access to services, workforce stability, clinical supervision, trauma-informed organizations, and leadership. Learners will discover how professionals at every level can strengthen coordination, improve care environments, support the workforce, and help systems better serve people and communities
